Human Resources Coord

JOB SUMMARY

This job processes and controls position and personnel transactions for exempt and non-exempt employees within the company, generating various summaries and reports of HRMS information. Performs the maintenance and scanning of the permanent personnel files. Provides clerical/administrative support to professional staff. Provides prompt, accurate and courteous replies to written and telephone inquiries to include verificationof employment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processand controlperformance appraisals and merit increases for exempt and non-exempt employees.

  • Process all information required to initiate and update computerized personnel records for the transfer, promotion and termination of exempt and non-exempt employees.

  • Receive, verifyand initiatethe processing of various personnel related activities including leave of absence transactions.

  • Maintain various organization control tables and initiates the position reorganization process.

  • Maintainpermanent personnel files.

  • Maintain various organization control tables, plan compliment by budget centers, organizational structure table and security for the HR/payroll system.

  • Overseethe maintenance of departmental programs, systems documentation and procedures in a current and detailed manner

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3-5 years of related, progressive experience. Grandfathered experience requirements effective August 2016.

Preferred

  • Experience with PeopleSoft

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
